PEACEFUL DEMONSTRATION FOR SOUTHERN CAMEROONS FREEDOM ON
COMMONWEALTH DAY HELD AT WESTMINSTER ABBEY, LONDON.
British Southern Cameroonians gathered in large numbers at Westminster Abbey on March 10, 2025, during Commonwealth Day, to voice their concerns to His Royal
Majesty and the global community. The Southern Cameroons National Council UK (SCNC) organized this event to inform His Royal Majesty and other important personalities present at the ceremony of the marginalization, killing, and suppression of Southern
Cameroons by French Cameroon.
Since the birth of SCNC-UK, it has maintained its non-violent and humanitarian action as its fundamental policy, with the motto ‘The force of argument, not the
argument of force.’ The demonstration was a platform for Southern Cameroonians to increase awareness of what is happening in Southern Cameroons. Thousands of people are displaced; young Southern Cameroonians can’t study in a peaceful environment because of the fear of ‘I might be the next to be harassed or kidnapped.’
Our demonstration began with everyone displaying placards expressing all the pain and suffering La République du Cameroun continues to inflict on Southern Cameroons. It ended after His Royal Majesty entered Westminster Abbey. The whole world needs to know about what is happening in Cameroon. La République du Cameroun continues to prosecute journalists who try to report and make the world aware of the killings and marginalization of Southern Cameroonians.

Southern Cameroons' freedom. In accordance with the humanitarian policy of SCNCUK, we are committed to providing shelter and financial aid for Southern
Cameroonians who have been displaced. Our fight for freedom continues, and the demonstration at Westminster Abbey marks an important chapter in our demand for
justice and independence of Southern Cameroons
